This course integrates the globally recognized project
management standards of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and the PMBOK®
Guide with the timeless wisdom of Scripture. Students learn to
initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects with excellence,
integrity, and servant leadership. Each module pairs a biblical narrative
(e.g., Nehemiah’s wall, Noah’s ark, Moses at the burning bush, Jesus washing
feet) with a secular corporate case study (e.g., NASA’s Apollo program, the
Panama Canal, Toyota Production System, Johnson & Johnson crisis). The
Bible serves not as a devotional supplement but as the original source of
project management principles—covering scope definition, stakeholder
engagement, risk management, ethical decision‑making, and lessons learned.
Students complete a final project: a full Project Management Plan for a real or
hypothetical faith‑based or non‑profit initiative. This course is designed for
business professionals, ministry leaders, and students seeking PMP®
certification or advanced leadership skills with a biblical foundation.
