New Testament Survey

A survey of the literature of the New Testament in its historical, literary, and theological contexts. The course examines the cultural and religious background of the Greco-Roman world and Second Temple Judaism, the life and teachings of Jesus, the development of the early church, and the diverse writings of the apostolic era, culminating in a synthesis of New Testament theology.
