Exegesis and Hermeneutics

Exegesis and Hermeneutics

An advanced study of the principles and processes of biblical interpretation. Students will move beyond simple reading to master the "Hermeneutical Spiral," utilizing historical, literary, and linguistic tools to bridge the gap between the ancient text and the contemporary world. This course emphasizes the Inductive Bible Study method, the necessity of prayerful dependence on the Holy Spirit, and reading Scripture through the lens of Redemptive History.
